Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight competitor Sage Northcutt had to go through a little surgery. That being said, it would probably not be very obvious from the fighter’s most recent Instagram post.
Sage Northcutt was set to compete at UFC 211, which is going down in his home state of Texas. However, the fighter has since been removed. Sage Northutt has suffered severe strep-throat. As a result, Northcutt has undergone surgery to deal with the issue.
That being said, the fighter does not appear to have been hindered much by the procedure.
Northcutt posted a picture of himself, post surgery, looking as in shape as ever. The image can be seen below.
