Color commentator John “JBL” Layfield may be somewhat responsible for the late absence of fellow WWE Smackdown commentator Mauro Ranallo.
As reported by the Wrestling Observer by way of Wrestling Inc, Ranallo has missed his third straight WWE Smackdown event due to depression and bipolar disorders.
With JBL and Ranallo having a history of light feuds, the timing of Ranallo’s absence is being drawn into question.
The commentator is now expected to miss WrestleMania 33 as well.
