UFC 211 goes down next month in Dallas, Texas. In the main event, former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos will be taking a shot at the title against reigning champion Stipe Miocic. The former champion says he is coming into the fight “more mature” and ready to take the belt.
In a recent interview on The MMA Hour, as transcribed by MMA Fighting, Junior dos Santos offered his perspective on the incipient match-up. “I’m feeling good, I’m training very well here at ATT and I don’t think it’s gonna be a problem for me,” He said.
“I’m getting more mature right now. I’m understanding myself a little bit better, so I can concentrate all my energy on my preparation, so I don’t think it’s gonna be a problem. I’m coming to take that belt from Miocic.” Junior dos Santos continued.
UFC 211 goes down May 13 inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
