Among them, the formerly popular use of testosterone replacement therapy is now banned from the UFC. Without TRT, some older fighters may find it difficult to sustain there world class athleticism through the years.
In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the UFC commentating veteran gave his thoughts on the matter.
Looking back to mixed martial arts legends, such as Vitor Belfort and Anderson Silva, Joe Rogan made a case for the effectiveness of TRT in the earlier days of the UFC. “I think TRT Vitor was one of the scariest guys that ever did MMA.” Rogan said.
