Johnson’s Coach Confirms Retirement Choice Has To Do With Move To Football

Last Saturday, after the UFC 210 main event, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson shocked the world by retiring after his defeat to Daniel Cormier.

Immediately following the night’s pay-per-view, Johnson changed the look of his twitter from UFC, to an NFL Rams theme. Many pointed to this sudden change as a sign that “Rumble” is moving on to football.

Now his coach chimes in on the move, and he took believes Johnson is NFL bound.

In talking to Ariel Helwani, Henri Hooft stated,

“Everyone’s seen his pages. It has something to do with Football.”

“It’s totally different than MMA. It has something to do with Football.

You look at his twitter, people will find out sooner or later what is really going on. I don’t know all the details.”
