“Bones” may have suffered a year suspension and been pulled from UFC 200 for an anti-doping violation involving the substance, but the former champion still says “sex pills” are awesome.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones was present for a press conference just ahead of last weekend’s UFC 210. During the conference, the fighter gave his opinion on the UFC 200 situation.
As , Jones said:
“I have been in the UFC many, many years, and I have taken sex pills several times throughout my adult life. Highly recommend it, guys. (Expletive) great. It’s awesome.”
When Jones began taking “sex pills,” the substance was not accountable as an anti-doping violation. Since the implementation of USADA as the anti-doping enforcers of the UFC, the pills often contain banned substances.
Reflecting on his positive testing for banned substances just ahead of UFC 200, Jones explained:
“I probably should have taken the rules a lot more seriously and literally had everything tested. I just figured it wasn’t needed because it had nothing to do with sport performance. I take USADA very seriously now, I send them everything and tell them where I am going to be.”
