Bantamweight Kevin Belingon is set to face Toni Tauru at ONE: Kings of Destiny on April 21. But, Belingon already has his sights set on the bantamweight belt.
ONE bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes first defeated Belingon at ONE: Dynasty of Champions in January. But, “The Silencer” seems to believe that he is ready for a rematch.
In a recent interview with ONE FC, Belingon said
“I watched his fight against Bibiano (Fernandes) and I think I can knock him out, too,” Belingon said about Toni Tauru. “Toni is a tough fighter and I think his strength is on the ground, but I will not hesitate to grapple with him.”
As far as facing Fernandes himself, Belingon explained “I believe I will face [Fernandes] soon and I am going to get his belt. My goal is to win all my fights and be the bantamweight champion.”
ONE: Kings of Destiny goes down April 21 inside the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.
