The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s middleweight division may be one of the more stacked weight classes the company has ever seen. Michael Bisping sits in a throne of his own in the division with names like Yoel Romero, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Luke Rockhold, and Robert Whittaker under him.
Even though any of those fighters could have been considered challengers to Bisping’s throne at any given moment, UFC President Dana White chose to give the next challenge to a returning former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. This, of course, rubbed a lot of the middleweight fighters the wrong way and perhaps the most vocal of those fighters was Romero.
Romero and Bisping have been going at it for the better part of a year now, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. Bisping has attacked the performance enhancing drugs rumors surrounding Romero’s camp and Romero has dressed down Bisping for not being a real champion.
Regardless, the two are set in a rivalry that is sure to eventually conclude inside the octagon somewhere down the line. While Romero waits for his title shot, he continues his verbal onslaught of Bisping on social media and Bisping is happy to oblige:
