Miesha Tate Is Pissed! Disgusted With New York Commission After Messed Up UFC 210 Event

UFC 210 went down last night, but the night’s co-main event carried with it a little controversy. Now, Miesha Tate is looking to put in her two cents on the subject.

Former middleweight champion Chris Weidman was looking to pull himself out of a losing streak in last night’s co-main event. But, the former champions bout with Gegard Mousasi faced a sudden stoppage by the referee. Mousasi landed a knee to the head of Weidman, which the referee believed to be an illegal blow. Following the stoppage, it was later revealed that the blow was legal. As a result, Weidman was faced with another loss.

Since the controversial stoppage, fighters have begun voicing their opinions on the night’s co-main event. Among them, former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has gone to Facebook to leave her view of the NYSAC directly.

“So the athletic commission clearly had no idea what was going on they decided to stop a fight that didn’t deserve to be stopped. Weidman is so tough and certainly wasn’t out of the fight, Mousasi may have been able to finish the fight if they would have let it continue like they should have. Both fighters were robbed by people who are ill equipped to do their jobs. Feel bad for both of them, they both deserved to battle it out to the bitter end and know last of all the fans were robbed in seeing the rest of that epic fight unfold!”
