Former Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor turned Bellator MMA athlete Rory “Red King” MacDonald has made a change of camps as of late.
The welterweight competitor seems to have decided to leave the mixed martial arts training camp TriStar Gym and join the ranks of Toshido MMA.
TriStar Gym, notably the camp of former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, was previously the stomping grounds for the Bellator MMA fighter. Now, Rory MacDonald has gone to Twitter to share the news of his change in training.
Rory MacDonald said, “camp life at toshidomma with @alexgarciamma @ Kelowna, British Columbia,” over Twitter. Whichever training camp MacDonald visits, the fighter is set to face Paul Daley at Bellator 179 on May 19.
