Superb Boxing Skills Saves Much Smaller Man From Large Street Attacker

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor said it best when he stated, “Timing beats speed, precision beats power.” The now infamous quote was dished out by McGregor after he sent Jose Aldo crashing to the mat with just one punch at UFC 194.

McGregor is a much bigger fighter than Aldo, but power and size has very little to do with what Conor mentioned. Size isn’t everything in combat sports. That’s been proven in boxing, mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and even a reach-favored sport like kickboxing.

Street fights are no different. When a larger man stepped up to someone who was much smaller, he had complete disregard for his tiny foe’s speed and overlooked any talent he may have had in his hands.

The smaller fighter made it obvious he knew how to fight, circling around the much larger man like he was going from rope to rope inside the boxing ring. All he needed was just one punch to send his foe to the asphalt:
