Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight Kelvin Gastelum put on a remarkable performance at UFC Fight Night 106. The competitor extended his win streak to three after snagging a TKO victory over Vitor Belfort in the first round.
Following his victory, Gastelum called out his next opponent. The fighter wanted to take on another legend, this time Anderson Silva. The two mixed martial arts warriors were even set to face off in Rio de Janeiro.
However, following the announcement, Kelvin Gastelum was flagged by USADA for a potential anti-doping policy violation. The potential violation involved Carboxy-Tetrahydrocannabinol, a metabolite found within marijuana.
While the fighter has since been pulled from his bout with Anderson Silva, Gastelum recently took to Twitter to let his fans know that there may be some good news in the future. “news are coming soon!!!” He said.
