The Return Of “Ubereem” — Alistair Overeem Is Back Looking Bigger Than Ever

It does not matter how many muscles Alistair Overeem has when he walks into the octagon; “The Reem” will always be one of the most dangerous strikers to ever step foot inside the octagon thanks to his dangerous knees and powerful punches. Overeem’s knockout highlight-reel is second to none in the heavyweight division, and he is a true threat to anybody in the top five if he steps into the octagon with them.

Overeem has proven to the world that he is still a dangerous threat in his weight class, coming fresh off a knockout win against Mark Hunt at UFC 209 in March earlier this year. Hunt has one of the toughest chins in the game and having only been knocked out just five times in his career, it’s a true testament to the power “The Reem” still possesses.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the change in the physique of the heavyweight behemoth. When he stepped onto the scales at “UFC 141” to square off with Brock Lesnar, Overeem was a mountain of a man and had muscles on top of muscles. Most recently, however, Overeem has stepped onto the scales looking like a normal heavyweight which would normally not raise the eyebrows of his peers had he not looked like an actual monster years beforehand.

Regardless, it appears that “Ubereem” is working some muscle mass back onto his body after his dominant win against Hunt. Overeem wants to work his way through the contenders necessary so he can get another shot at the UFC Heavyweight Championship which will be defended in the main event of “UFC 211”. Does the Overeem you see below look like world champion material?
