Last week, the U.S. Air Force dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb to date in Afghanistan. The Massive Ordinance Air Blast, or MOAB, was reportedly dropped on an ISIS instillation in retaliation of the death of a Green Beret soldier. Now, it would appear that a former UFC fighter is looking to reenlist.
Former UFC competitor Tim Kennedy has a storied history of military service. The former fighter extensively served in the Special Forces before transitioning to the National Guard. Now, it would appear that Kennedy is looking to get back into active service.
The former fighter released the Instagram post, “Dear isis, If you are lucky enough to kill a Special Forces operator, the possibility of us dropping the biggest non-nuclear bomb ever made on you should be the least of your concerns. There is a vengeance and wrath associated with the loss of one of our brothers. May God have mercy on your soul because we are coming and we will have none to give. Sincerely, The U.S. Military.”
Afterwards, Kennedy appeared on “Fox and Friends Weekend.” In the interview, Kennedy explained that he believes the recent bombing of ISIS has shown the U.S. military “got our teeth back.” Claiming that the group must be eliminated by force, Kennedy said “We can stand together and fight [them].”
