UFC on FOX 24 went down tonight, with flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson defending his belt from Wilson Reis in the night’s main event. The champion tied Anderson Silva for UFC history, as he made his tenth consecutive title defense.
Prior to UFC on FOX 24, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson was tied with former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre for the second most consecutive title defenses at a grand total of nine. Now, with a win over Wilson Reis, Johnson will be looking to make UFC history in whatever fight comes next for the champion.
“Mighty Mouse” took out Wilson Reis in a dominant fashion, as he was the first fighter to ever submit the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Johnson sank in an armbar submission in the third round of the match. Before sinking in the submission, the champion controlled much of the fight for the first two rounds.
