Ultimate Fighting Championship’s strawweight division has truly begun to take shape since its inception years ago. Joanna Jedrzejczyk has established herself as one of the more dominant champions the company has seen in years, and the list of contenders she has left to fight is getting smaller as each defense passes.
Top-contender Tecia Torres has shown time and time again that she has what it takes to become a star in the organization, and she is on the small list of names that have yet to step into the octagon with “Joanna Champion”. Torres is coming fresh off a win against Bec Rawlings In February 2017
She’s hoping to make up for lost ground in taking on a bigger name after suffering defeat for the first time in her career at UFC on Fox: Teixeira vs. Evans against Rose Namajunas. Torres has been keeping in shape and recently took to social media to show off her fight-shape body:
“Unicorns are Badass ? Fun shoot today with the amazing duo ?: @ohrangutang ?: @cristinapilo”
