Former Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight competitor and mixed martial arts veteran Kenny Florian recently competed in the 2017 ADWPJJC.
In the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament, Florian faced Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro for the Legends welterweight belt. Florian is an accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in his own rite, but was facing a former IBJJF World Champion in Vitor Ribeiro.
Kenny Florian would go on to lose the match by way of a clock choke. Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro has retained his title.
