Ronda Rousey could do no wrong in the public eye when she had the gold around her waist, and it wasn’t long before major opportunities came knocking at her door.
Rousey graced the cover of the “Body Issue” of ESPN Magazine and copies flew off the shelves as quick as employees could restock them. All good things must come to an end, however, and Rousey’s start fell as quick as it rose. Two one-sided losses put Rousey out of the graces of most major publications, and Invicta FC fighter Ediane Gomes took to social media to poke fun at the cover image, making a silly face all the while holding her hands over her breasts much like Rousey did:
“What is the difference ?? Lol ? ??. People only see the beauty but GOD see heart ❤️. In the end, when we get old. We will look the same. what will be worthy will be what we learned in this life and what we are as human.!! Simply as that !! ??. But funny pic though. ?. #sincere #funny #rondarousey #edianegomes @rondarousey #godaboveall #liberty #adventurespirit #invictafc #ufcfightpass #ufc”
Gomes wanted to explain that the purpose of the social media post was about beauty, and where it truly lies. Is that what you picked up from the image the first time you saw it?
