UFC strawweight Paige “12 Gauge” VanZant faced her first processional loss at Invicta FC 4 back in 2013. Fellow UFC strawweight Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres faced “12 Gauge” in the cage that night and managed to snag a unanimous decision victory over her opponent.
While the fight went all three rounds, VanZant faced a rough few moments as Torres poured on the pressure and let out a flurry of impactful strikes to her opponent. “12 Gauge” can be seen working hard to fend off the offensive front of Tecia Torres in the video below.
Torres is now coming off of another unanimous decision victory. This time, “The Tiny Tornado” is riding a victory over Bec Rawlings at UFC Fight Night 104. Having recently suffered a loss to Rose Namajunas, Torres is looking to bounce back on another winning streak.
Paige VanZant is currently coming off of a first round submission loss to Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson at UFC on FOX 22.
