Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship since her bout with Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 last year. The fighter is now coming off of a two fight losing streak.
With Rousey having recently snagged a role in the television show Blindspot and UFC President Dana White having previously admitted that he believes the former champion is never coming back, many have considered the fighter informally retired.
Now, Dana White has gone to TMZ Sports to clear the air. As transcribed by FOX Sports, White explained that Ronda Rousey has not claimed retirement from the sport. “I don’t think so. She hasn’t retired. She hasn’t told me she’s retiring but I don’t think she’s [coming back],” White said.
“She’s actually enjoying herself and she’s having fun. She made a lot of money and she’s enjoying it now.” White explained.
