Former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva has been going through some turmoil with the mixed martial arts fighting promotion as of late. The former champion has even pulled out of his next fight.
Anderson Silva recently appeared on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour. On the edition, the former champion had some words for UFC President Dana White. Silva explained that he would retire if he was not offered an interim title fight.
Following the incident, the UFC president stated that there would be no such interim title fight. Anderson Silva responsively pulled himself from UFC 212, causing Dana White to administer refunds to any interested ticket owners for the event.Now, it would appear that the former champion is urging fans to accept those refunds.
As reported by Combate, Anderson Silva has stated that fans have a rite to accept their offered refunds. The fighter believes that anyone who is a fan of his should consider the offer.
