During an interview, ONE Atomweight Champion Angela Lee was asked what she fears about her upcoming opponent Istela Nunes?
“I’m not afraid of Istela Nunes,” Lee said confidently about her next title challenger.
Lee will fight Nunes is the main event of ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes.
Lee is currently undefeated with seven victories. She is a submission specialist with six of her wins coming by submission. She made her first title defense in March when she defeated Jenny Huang. Lee won the title in her previous fight by defeating Mei Yamaguchi.
Nunes is also undefeated. She has six wins and made her ONE Championship debut back in August. At ONE Championship: Heroes of the World, Nunes won a decision against Yamaguchi.
ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes will take place May 26 in Singapore. ONE Welterweight Champion Ben Askren will also defend his title at the event when he fights Agilan Thangalapani.
