UFC strawweight Angela Magana has challenged former Stirkeforce, and Invicta, Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino to a grappling match.
This past weekend, Justino assaulted Magana at the UFC Athlete Retreat in Las Vegas. Justino was upset over some insulting tweets from Magana, and she punched the strawweight fighter.
On Tuesday, Magana went to Twitter and challenged “Cyborg” to a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu match. She said the reason she wanted to grapple, instead of fight, is because of the major size difference between the two women.
After challenging Justino, Magana hashtagged the words, “I’ll choke you out (expletive)” and “I don’t fight in the streets.”
After the incident, Magana has pressed charges against the former champion. Magana says Justino could be facing felony charges for assaulting her in Las Vegas.
Magana has not fought in almost two years. She is on a four-fight losing streak. She has lost both her UFC fights. She lost a decision to Tecia Torres in her debut and was submitted by Michelle Waterson in her last fight.
