Things got a little out of control at an MMA event in Russia in March 2015.
Following a controversial judges decision and a stunning knockout, audience members jumped into the cage and attacked the winner of the main event of a local MMA show.
At PRO FC 57 at the Sports Palace in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, the main event featured a middleweight match-up between the promotion’s champion Shamil Abdulkhalikov and Mikhail Kolobegov.
After the three-round fight was over, it seemed as if Abdulkhalikov earned a decision victory and would retain his title. However, confusion with the score cards resulted in the promotion deciding to do a fourth round to declare a winner.
During the fourth round, Kolobegov seized his opportunity and knocked out the champion to win the fight. After the fight, chaos ensued as multiple men jumped into the cage and attacked the new champion. Luckily, the attack did not last long and security intervened.
