Boxing Pay Report: Canelo Alvarez vs. Chavez Jr. Salaries Revealed

Tonight boxing phenoms Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Canelo Alvarez throw down in a grueling, grudge match for the ages. The non-title fight bout will go down in the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the bout growing near, the NSAC have released the purse guarantees.

The Nevada Athletic Commission (NSAC) has released the guaranteed purse values for each of the night’s competitors. As reported by Bloody Elbow, Canelo Alvarez is set for a cool $5 million. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is set for $3 million.

That being said, the NSAC reported values are the guaranteed values each fighter will receive. Each boxer may make much more from the night’s event.
