A brave journalist decided he wanted to train and spar with UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo and his team.
“When he looked for me and said he wanted to do the same training we, Nova Uniao, do, I said to him, it is very hard,” Aldo said. “It is too hard, very tiring for the body.”
Despite Aldo’s warning, the journalist decided to train at Nova Uniao in Brazil. Very quickly, the journalist admitted it was not what he was expecting.
The journalist went on to get beat up by some of the fighters training at the gym. Eventually, the journalist was given the opportunity to train with the UFC champion.
The journalist got knocked down and was later submitted by Aldo. In the video below, you can watch the reporter receive a beating from team Nova Uniao.
Aldo is scheduled to defend his championship in his home country of Brazil on Saturday. At UFC 212, Aldo will fight Interim UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway in the main event.
