Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Georges “Rush” St-Pierre is now making his return to the mixed martial arts fighting promotion. The former champion has not competed in the octagon in over three years.
Now, the former champion is looking to try out a new division. Having never competed in the middleweight division before, “Rush” St-Pierre is set to make his return in a title fight match. The fighter will be facing UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping.
However, the two fighters have yet to lock in a date. Michael Bisping desires a sooner date. The champion wants to throw down during UFC International Fight Week in July. However, Georges St-Pierre and his camp have previously shown interest in fighting later in the year.
Now, former UFC heavyweight competitor Brendan Schaub has decided to give his opinion on the news that St-Pierre is likely hunting for a later date in the year. Over Twitter, the former fighter posted a simple “?.”
