Former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano wants to be a coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The next season of TUF will feature women competing at 125 pounds. The winner of the competition will be awarded the inaugural UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship.
“Put me on as the coach of TUF and watch the most aggressive & devastating season you’ve ever witnessed,” Zingano said on her Instagram page.
Before fighting in the UFC, Zingano won a couple of flyweight championships in regional promotions.
Zingano is currently on a two-fight losing streak in the UFC. Last July, she lost a decision to Julianna Pena. In her previous fight, she lost a title fight to Ronda Rousey.
Despite her recent losses, Zingano is still one of the best female fighters in the world today. Her record includes wins over Raquel Pennington, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate, and current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes.
