UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt has been defending his persona from this season of The Ultimate Fighter.
On the current season of TUF, Garbrandt is coaching opposite of his former teammate, and former UFC bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw.
On Wednesday, Garbrandt sent out a tweet referring to one of his fighters on the show.
“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink!!” Garbrandt tweeted
A fan of the show then responded to the champion’s tweet claiming Dillashaw was a much better coach than he was.
“Tj is going to be a (expletive) coach that’s what he has to fall back on after this fight!! I’m a fighter not a coach I’ve stated this!” Garbrandt responded.
Garbrandt is scheduled to defend his title against Dillashaw on July 8 at UFC 213. However, Garbrandt is suffering from a back injury and may have to withdraw from the fight. Garbrandt is currently in Germany receiving treatment for his injury.
@Cody_Nolove Unless the show is heavily edited then you don't appear to be leading anything, TJ actually coaches his fighters where as you not so much
