Confirmed: Floyd Mayweather Is In Training Camp With UFC Fighters

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor has been working to set up a career high payday cross-promotional bout. For the fight, “Notorious” McGregor wants to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring.

It was recently revealed that Conor McGregor has come to terms with the UFC president. However, UFC President Dana White has yet to finalize any deal with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Now, it would appear that the boxing phenom is getting back to training.

In a recent interview with Helen Yee, Jeff Mayweather revealed that his nephew Floyd Mayweather Jr. is back in the gym. He also noted that he caught the boxer training with a mixed martial artist from the UFC.

In the interview, Jeff Mayweather stated “He must be preparing for the McGregor fight, because he worked out with an MMA guy.” However, Jeff Mayweather did explain that he was unsure who he was training with. “Once I came in, everybody was telling me that it was a UFC fighter. I have no idea who it was.” He said.
