Conor McGregor Has More UFC Belts Than He’s Earned, UFC Gives Him Extra

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has received more titles from the UFC than he has actually earned.

On Thursday, McGregor posted a photo of his newborn son sitting with all his UFC championships. In the photo, which can be seen below, the newborn is surrounded by four UFC titles.

McGregor has only won three titles in his UFC career. He first won an interim featherweight title by defeating Chad Mendes in July 2015. He earned his second title by knocking out Jose Aldo and becoming undisputed champion. He won his third title when he defeated Eddie Alvarez to become lightweight champion back in November.

After McGregor defeated Alvarez, McGregor demanded the UFC give him a second title due to him being the first ever fighter in UFC history to hold two titles at the same time.

The UFC had originally only given McGregor one title due to his featherweight title not being on the line. The UFC had to take the welterweight title from Tyron Woodley, who fought on the same card, in order to make McGregor happy.

Well apparently, Woodley never got his title back or the UFC later gave McGregor another title, because the champion now has four UFC titles in his home.

Let's go get some boxing ones now son.
