Conor’s Coach Doesn’t Like Joe Rogan’s Commentary When It Comes To Conor

John Kavanagh, the coach of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, is not a fan of the commentary during McGregor’s fight.

While talking about McGregor’s second fight with Nate Diaz, Kavanagh says UFC commentators Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg make is seem as if strikes that aren’t landing actually are.

“I guess you get caught up in the moment, and maybe it looked a certain may. Maybe that’s why they were screaming so much,” Kavanagh said during an appearance on The MMA Hour.

“They were screaming so much, but we found it kind of funny,” Kavanagh continued. “We were looking at it and there is a shot where Conor buckles his legs. ‘He tagged him’ (Rogan said) Really? You have a heart attack over shots that were rolled but that’s just tagged?”

In the video below, you can hear all of Kavanagh’s thoughts on the UFC commentary, along with footage from the second McGregor vs. Diaz fight.
