During a recent regional MMA event, an MMA fighter was allowed to be knocked out twice before the referee stopped the fight.
At KCFA 23, in Kansas City, Anthony “Sharkbait” Gutierrez decimated his opponent Christian Camp, who took the fight on short notice.
After dominating him in the first round, Gutierrez looked to have won the fight when Camp appeared to be knocked out once the round was finished.
Despite lying almost lifeless on the ground, the referee allowed Camp to get back up and fight in round two.
The second round was just like the first with Gutierrez dominating. At the end of the round, Camp once against was unable to get to his feet. This time the referee mercifully finished the fight and awarded Guiterrez the victory.
