On Sunday, Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino went to Facebook to suggest when her next fight will be, and who she will be fighting.
In a Facebook post, Justino posted a photo of herself and Invicta Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson. On her post, Justino wrote “July 29 champion vs. champion.”
On July 29, UFC 214 will be taking place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. It has been rumored that “Cyborg” may compete at the event.
It appears Justino wants to fight at the event and wants to fight the Invicta champion. Anderson won an interim title by defeating Charmaine Tweet by TKO. Since then, Justino relinquished the Invicta featherweight title, resulting in Anderson becoming the champion.
Justino forfeited the title due to her wanting to focus on her career in the UFC.
Cyborg has made many headlines this past week due to issues with other fighters.
Last weekend, at the UFC Athlete Retreat, “Cyborg” assaulted UFC strawweight Angela Magana after Magana had made fun of Justino’s appearance on social media.
Since the incident, Magana has pressed charges against Justino. The UFC has yet to announce whether or not they will punish “Cyborg” for her actions.
Also last week, UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie’s manager announced the champion refuses to defend her title against Justino because of her past use of performance-enhancing drugs.
