Cyborg Is Mad … Speaks Out Against UFC’s Matchmaking

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is not happy with the current matchmaking in the UFC.

Justino has recently been campaigning for a fight in the UFC against Invicta Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson.

Since UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie is refusing to fight Justino, “Cyborg” wanted to fight Anderson for the UFC championship.

De Randamie’s manager recently said in an interview that De Randamie would rather be stripped of the UFC title than have to defend against “Cyborg” because of her history with performance-enhancing drugs.

Well apparently, a fight between Justino and Anderson can no longer take place anytime soon.

On Wednesday, Invicta FC announced Anderson will be defending her title against Helena Kolesnyk in the main event of Invicta FC 24 on July 15.

After hearing about Anderson’s next fight, Justino shared her thoughts with FloCombat.

“I wish Megan good luck. The fact she is fighting an undefeated 5-0 fighter at 145 proves there are women I could have been fighting in the UFC at 145 pounds the entire time I’ve been signed to the promotion instead of undersized girls being forced up a weight class once they’ve suffered a few losses at 135.”
