Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is currently gearing up for two large events. The fighter is set to face off against rival and former champion Jon “Bones” Jones in a highly anticipated rematch. However, the champion is also preparing for his own wedding.
Daniel Cormier is set to face off against Jon Jones in a highly anticipated title fight rematch at UFC 214 on July 29. However, before that can happen, the champion will be getting married.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Daniel Cormier explained that he has not invited UFC President Dana White to his wedding. But, the champion will gladly accept any gifts the president sends his way.
“I did not invite the president. (It’s only) close family and friends; Dana White is a busy guy.” Cormier said, before jokingly explaining that Dana White is still free to send him gifts. “He can definitely send a gift. I’m accepting all gifts.” He said.
