UFC President Dana White has been attempting to set up a cross-promotional matchup between UFC lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor and boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, things have not yet lined up for the UFC president.
Dana White recently revealed that things are squared away with Conor McGregor. However, the UFC president has yet to finalize things on Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s end. Now, Dana White has come forward to reveal that things should be clear soon.
In a recent media scrum outside of the UFC headquarters, as transcribed by MMA Junkie, Dana White explained “The slate is clear on our side to do whatever. I don’t know what obstacles or hurdles they have to jump over.
When you get in and you start negotiating, and you start hearing the things that are on their side, you’ll know real quick whether we can get a deal done.”
