Dana White Reviews Yesterday’s Presser Brawl, Talks Potential Consequences

The UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference went down last night. The conference did not go without its drama, as there was much trash talking in the event. In a few scenarios, the trash talking nearly led to a few fights in the conference room.

In preparation for a packed summer event lineup, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held the press conference with many of the summer competitor’s in attendance. The fighters participated in the event by answering any questions and by making a quick staredown with their opponents.

Among them, lightweights Michael “Maverick” Chiesa and Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee were in attendance for the event. The two fighters are set to face off at UFC Fight Night 112 on June 25. But, that did not stop the fighters from nearly throwing down at the event.

After some heated trash talking, the fighters approached each other and Kevin Lee let a fist fly, striking Chiesa. Now, UFC President Dana White is looking into the action. In a media scrum following the event, as reported by MMA Junkie, Dana White had this to say:

“The worst one was Lee hitting Chiesa. That was a big one, when you actually land a solid punch… I don’t know. I’ll go back and look at everything and talk to my team. We’ll figure it out.”
