UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier recently shared some strong words towards former champion Jon Jones.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Cormier talked about how Jones is not a good guy.
“His championship was lost when he was drugged out of his mind and ran over somebody’s wife,” Cormier said.
“Or maybe he lost his championship that time he tested positive for steroids. There have been a number of times he lost his championship. So no, the champ is not there. And I’d rather be patted on my back for being a good guy than standing in front of judges around the country explaining why I’m in trouble. So yeah, tell me I’m a good guy. I’d rather be doing that than standing in front of a judge.”
Cormier is expected to defend his title against Jones at UFC 214 on July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
