Former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw recently took to social media to reveal that the UFC had allegedly cancelled his tickets to today’s UFC Summer Kick Off press conference.
In the message, the former champion speculated that UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt was not attending the event because he was backing out of their highly anticipated title fight grudge match in July.
However, Cody “No Love” Garbrandt has since responded to T.J. Dillashaw’s recent concerns. Over Twitter, the bantamweight champion stated “Flying to Germany tomorrow for my second back procedure in less than 3 months, rest easy @TJDillashaw your time will come.”
The two mixed martial artists are expected to face off in July for UFC’s International Fight Week. In the meantime, both fighters have been coaching the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter.
