Two of the top prospects in the UFC featherweight division will fight at UFC 214.
“The Korean Superboy” Doo Ho Choi will fight Team Alpha Male’s Andrei Fili on July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
The UFC announced the matchup on Wednesday via their website.
Choi is coming off a “fight of the year” candidate in a losing effort against Cub Swanson. Prior to the loss, Choi was on a 12-fight win streak and was unbeaten in the UFC with three wins. His UFC career includes knockout wins over Sam Sicilia and Thiago Tavares.
“Touchy” Fili is coming off the biggest win of his UFC career. In October, he won a decision against Hacran Dias. Fili has four wins in the UFC and has fought some of the best featherweights in the division. He has experience fighting Yair Rodriguez and Interim UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway.
