Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight competitor and former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber has gone to Instagram to announce that he has lost a bet. As a result, the former fighter is now sporting a dashing mohawk.
During the UFC 210 pay-per-view broadcast, an unexpected pause from the event was taken to make a surprising announcement. “The California Kid” mixed martial arts veteran will be inducted into the UFC Hall-of-Fame as part of the class of 2017 inductees.
Now, Urijah Faber has taken to Instagram to share a picture of himself sporting a mohawk hairdo. In the message, Faber stated “Lost a bet… The Mohawk is not an early life crisis ? digging the @torque1_net spring line ?.”
“The California Kid’s” final fight in the octagon was against, now fellow retired fighter, Brad Pickett. The two went toe-to-toe at UFC on FOX 22 last year. In the end, Urijah Faber scored a unanimous decision victory.
