Jiu-jitsu specialist Dillon Danis is beginning to train in mixed martial arts in preparation for his debut in the sport.
Along with having an impressive resume in the world of grappling, Danis is also well known for being a training partner of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Danis has already signed a deal with Bellator MMA and is expected to make his MMA debut in the promotion sometime in the near future.
On Thursday, Danis posted a video on his YouTube page showing himself training while wearing Bellator gloves.

Danis is a multiple-time world champion in jiu-jitsu. He has experience competing against some of the best fighters in MMA. In 2015, Danis submitted UFC veteran Joe Lauzon in a grappling match.
Most recently, Danis lost a grappling match to former UFC title challenger Jake Shields at Submission Underground 4 earlier this month.
