It has been reported that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may be preparing itself for an epic heavyweight matchup later this summer. However, nothing has yet been made official.

As reported by mixed martial arts journalist Ariel Helwani by way of Twitter, former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos may be facing rising heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou in August.

Over Twitter, Ariel Helwani stated “UFC would like to book Francis Ngannou vs. Junior dos Santos for the yet-to-be announced 8/19 PPV, per sources, but it’s not done yet.”
