Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Chris Weidman recently scored a television spot. The former champion manages to snag an acting role on the new Kevin James sitcom “Kevin Can Wait.”
Kevin James is an avid fan of mixed martial arts and, as such, has cultivated a few friends of his own from the UFC realm. Now, Chris Weidman plays a police officer in the show.
The former champion recently posted a clip from the show to his Instagram. In the clip, Weidman can be seen acting alongside the leading role. The topic of conversation for the scene was “gay ball.”
Chris Weidman is currently coming off of a three fight losing streak in the UFC. The fighter most recently faced a contentious TKO stoppage loss to Gegard Mousasi at UFC 210.
