Former Glory kickboxing world champion Gokhan Saki is rumored to have signed a deal with the UFC.
If Saki does sign with the premiere MMA organization, he will be a major prospect in either the UFC heavyweight or light heavyweight division.
The news of Saki signing with the UFC was broke by Ali Mokdad, who is a commentator for ONE Championship. He tweeted that Saki had signed with the UFC, but has since deleted the tweet.
Saki has 83 professional wins as a kickboxer with notable victories over Rey Sefo, Tyrone Spong, and former Bellator title challenger Melvin Manhoef.
In 2004, Saki made his debut in MMA but lost by TKO. That one loss is Saki’s only attempt competing in the sport.
