Former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre says he wants to hurt UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping.
St-Pierre appeared on a recent episode of The MMA Hour and discussed his intentions in a fight against Bisping.
“I’ll hurt him real bad,” St-Pierre said. “He said a lot of stupid stuff.”
St-Pierre was expected to fight Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship. The fight was later canceled due to St-Pierre not being able to fight until November.
However, Bisping is suffering from a knee injury and will not be able to fight until the end of the year. With St-Pierre and Bisping still wanting to fight one another, the fight may still take place.
Even though UFC President Dana White said St-Pierre’s next fight will be at welterweight, St-Pierre said he only wants to fight in a fight that will elevate his career, and no fights at welterweight will do that at this time.
