Former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre does not enjoy watching women fight in the UFC.
St-Pierre is happy that women get the opportunity to fight, but he says he does not like watching it.
“I’m happy for the girls that fight, but me personally I have a hard time watching the girls fight,” St-Pierre said. “It’s the way I grew up maybe, the mentality, I’m different, I’m old school, but I have a hard time watching girls fighting, it’s hard for me.”
St-Pierre is currently preparing to make his return to the UFC. The former champion says he’ll be ready to fight at the end of 2017. St-Pierre has not fought since 2013 when he last defended his title. Following his win over Johny Hendricks, St-Pierre relinquished the title and took a sabbatical from the sport.
