The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another exciting event last night as UFC 211 went down in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The event presented two title fights for the main and co-main events of the evening.
In the main event, UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic was set for a rematch. The champion initially lost to Junior Dos Santos in 2014. However, Miocic had a shot at redemption with the former champion in last night’s main event.
Stipe Miocic made short work of Junior Dos Santos by scoring a technical knockout finish in the very first round. After the bout, the two fighters made their way to the UFC 211 Post-Fight Press Conference.
During the UFC 211 Post-Fight Press Conference, Junior Dos Santos got a little emotional. The former champion has performed with a 50 percent win/loss rate for the past five years. The recent TKO loss to Stipe Miocic can be seen having some effect on the fighter in the video below.
