UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has shared her opinion on the situation between Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and Angela Magana.
At the UFC Athlete Retreat, last weekend, Justino assaulted Magana over some insulting social media posts. Magana had posted photos on her social media mocking Justino’s appearance.
Jedrzejczyk shared her views on the incident while appearing on the UFC Unfiltered podcast.
“Don’t talk (expletive) on your social media,” Jedrzejczyk said. “I don’t like this. It’s not right what Cris did. She shouldn’t hit her because you cannot do this. But the other thing is, I went on Magana’s profile, I saw the meme of Cris Cyborg. You cannot do this. Respect the person.”
In the video below, you can hear all of Jedrzejczyk’s comments about the situation between “Cyborg” and Magana.
Jedrzejczyk is coming off her fifth successful title defense. Earlier this month, she defended her title by winning a unanimous decision against Jessica Andrade.
